Sagamore’s new single ‘Man Who Loves You’ finds the band joyfully laying down an up tempo groove set to a conga drum rhythm, featuring ethio-funk styled organ and call and response backing vocals. Recorded live at Phaedra Studios with master producer John Lee, the song climaxes with an alto sax solo by Archibald Jacobs of Sunnyside fame. The accompanying film clip, shot by Declan Sands with help from Kane Bonney, showcases the band’s natural musicality and easy-going rapport, as they re-create the recording at their regular rehearsal space in Fairfield, Melbourne.

I just simply love this album. It twists and turns and takes its influences in a seriously fun and exciting manner, without really sounding like any one else.
Can't wait for their next album.
